Corporate Travel Agent (Intermediate Level)

Travelex International, established in 1992, is a full-service, boutique travel company with a full line of Corporate; Meetings, Groups & Events [MGE]; and luxury leisure offerings.  This role is contained within our corporate department.

We are growing and seeking experienced Domestic & International Corporate Agents, to join our team.

Candidates must be available to work IN A HYBRID ENVIRONMENT.  The Candidate must reside in the  greater Chicagoland area to start, as there will be periodic in-office meetings and on-boarding & training experiences.  Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment Interviews, and skill & aptitude assessments during the interview process.

 Company Job Types:

• We are seeking one Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
• And we are seeking a second Part-time role with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Corporate Travel Agent Experience: 3-5 years current/active experience (REQUIRED)
• Experienced on Sabre GDS system: 3 years current/active experience (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge to make domestic and international travel arrangements.
• Ticketing, including exchange ticketing, and exchanges with residual values
• International fare construction
• Keeping up to date on airline policies
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients & team members
• Provide travel expertise to clients
• Communicate effectively with other agents to solve problems and gather information
• Knowledge of Concur a plus, as well as other travels related systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
• Domestic and international geography knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service, internally and externally
• A team-oriented and client-focused approach with strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year based upon demonstrated experience

 Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21-$31 per hour based upon demonstrated experience
