Travel Agency Operations Manager/Director Overview
Travelex Business is seeking an experienced Travel Agency Operations Manager for a Regional Corporate Travel Management Company (TMC) with business travel, meetings, groups & events, and luxury leisure components.
This position will Report directly to our President, who is the senior most operational executive in the company. The company culture is collaborative, and this role will become part of the leadership team within the company.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership of customer service and operational leader to clients and prospects.
- This role oversees all aspects of travel services and logistics, including reservations, ticketing and customer support. Key responsibilities include managing bookings, troubleshooting, coordinating integrated systems, coordinating with customer inquiries, internal teams and suppliers. Strong organizational, problem solving and communications are essential for this role.
- Manage daily operations, including oversight for internal teams and for integrations with technology systems: Sabre / Concur / Cornerstone / Trams / Magnatech, Mantic Point /Ibank / IQCX Bookingbuilder /Conferma /Phone Technology and duty of care systems [experience with each of these would be a plus].
- Reporting and analysis oversight includes tracking operational efficiency, analyze data and provide reports to clients and stakeholders on spend, savings, efficiency and process improvements. Act as first line of contact for client and assist Account Management with client support issues.

Other Requirements
- Travel, Hospitality & Tourism certificate, and/or college degree preferred
- Intermediate level Sabre experience is required
- 5/8+ years in Corporate Travel environment required (with supervisory experience)
- Fluency in other languages (PLUS)
- Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, leadership and coaching
- Strong management skills – staff motivation, coaching / training, achieving business objectives
