There are three common ways to book business travel:

1. Calling an airline directly

2. Booking online on a third party site (i.e. Expedia) or on the airline’s own site

3. Calling a travel management company like Travelex Business.

Today, in a no-commission environment for domestic travel, the valuable service of planning, routing, booking and managing costly business travel is a valuable professional service that deserves being remunerated.

What our full-service agents do to earn their fees is to consult with you personally and review each booking made.

All bookings, including those made on our booking engine (Concur) are reviewed personally by our staff and if there are any questions, we intercept it and make suggestions before ticketing actually happens, often at a lower price or better routing.

Change fees can frequently be eliminated, because of our special relationships with the major carriers. We can also open up prime seats and occasionally provide free upgrades on certain international flights if available, once again with considerable savings.

Have you experienced any of these ‘free’ services yet? Tell us about your experiences.
